Select Program 11U-14U
The Select Program is for players who wish to play at a high level, for those who are serious soccer players, and willing to commit to fall/spring practices and winter trainings. Teams are formed through an evaluation process called tryouts. They are a required step for competitive 11U-14U teams. Tryout dates are determined each year by the club within the MAYSA guidelines. Offers are made to selected players once tryouts have been completed.
Registration cost is $300* which includes both registration for the fall and spring. This is a full-year commitment. Fees must be paid on time. Teams play 8 games in fall and 8 games in spring.
Additional costs include uniform, coach, referee, and tournament fees. All but the uniform fee is collected twice--once for the fall, and once for the spring. Uniforms are ordered on Stefan's Soccer store's website in the summer prior to the season. Your team manager and treasurer will communicate exact amounts and due dates. These fees are split among all families and are expected to be paid on time!
Coaches are trained and licensed to teach soccer and are constantly evaluated by our Director of Coaching. Team managers are parent volunteers and are supported by the club administrator at Magic.
Select teams are part of the MAYSA League. Travel to away games (1/2 of fall games and 1/2 of spring games) may take you to any one of the other 35+ clubs in the MAYSA district (southwest region of the state) that are also in your team's bracket.
*Cost includes everything offered in the program description through the calendar year except anything a team may independently choose to enroll in (camps, clinics, tournaments,winter futsal).
